"Free Docent App of Seodaemun Prison History Hall" (APP for smart devices) (Individuals must bring earphones)

• It offers a guide service about major exhibitions and buildings of the history hall using the IoT technology.
• The brand-new exhibition guide service connects beacon and a smart device using Bluetooth,offering location based automatic guide for the exhibits, etc.
• You can use the app for free after downloading from App Store.
  Please download the contents when WiFi is connected.
  However, the Bluetooth function should be activated for the service, and it supports Android 5.0 or above, iOS 10.0 or above, and Bluetooth 2.0 or above.

• The docent program is free, and is offered in four languages (Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese).
• The docent program is available for 20 people. If the number of audience exceeds the capacity, it would not be possible to offer the docent program.
• The docent program can be booked 30 days before the desired date by order of arrival. (Not available for age 10 or under)
• Go to the commentary reservation

• The docent program is presented three times every Sunday afternoon at 13:00 / 13:30 / 14:00 in the hall.
• TThe Sunday regular docent program is offered in the hall without reservation, so it can be crowded depending on a day.
• TThe meeting point: In front of the entrance of the exhibition hall

* Anyone can view the videos of Korean sign language commentary.

How to Rent the Korean Sign Language System

• Present your ID at the information desk of the exhibition hall and ask for the Korean sign language system.
• Collect the Korean sign language system and enjoy the exhibition.
• Return the device after viewing.

How to Use the System with Individual Smartphones

• Find the QR code next to the exhibition panel inside the prison history hall.
• Take a picture of the QR code with an application of a smartphone.
• View the exhibition watching the videos of Korean sign language commentary.
• ※ Your smartphone will not need connection to mobile data if it is connected to the public WiFi installed in the whole area of Seodaemun Prison History Hall.
